  1. non-renewable resources means that the resource will not replenish its self on a human time scale (oil can be replenished it just takes millions of years). it means that once you use up all of it you will not be able to get more.

  2. Something that can not be re-used, example, coal You can not use it again, but corn and trees, however are renewable because they can be re planted.  Definition-A non-renewable resource is a natural resource that cannot be re-made, re-grown or regenerated on a scale comparative to its consumption. It exists in a fixed amount that is being consumed or used up faster than it can be made by nature. Fossil fuels (such as coal, petroleum and natural gas) and nuclear power are non-renewable resources, as they do not naturally re-form at a rate that makes the way we use them sustainable and consumer materials to produce electricity. A renewable resource differs in that it may be used but not used up. This is as opposed to natural resources such as timber, which re-grows naturally and can, in theory, be harvested sustainably at a constant rate without depleting the existing resource pool and resources such as metals, which, although they are not replenished, are not destroyed when used and can be recycled. It is a resource that can not be re-used

  3. If you have a garden, and you are growing

peas.  Say you eat every last pea in every

last pod, your peas then are non-renewable,

because there are no more seeds to grow

    any more plants.

BUT, if you save a few pea pods and just

let them fall to the ground, they then become

renewable because they renewed the pea

    crop again.

So therefore, any type of fuel that can

renew itself, is renewable.  At present we

have no renewable fuels.  Once these are

gone, there is no more.  Even the nuclear.

There is very little uranium left to use, and

once it's gone, even nuclear energy becomes NON-renewable.

What we must use is something that never

ends...like sun, wind, ocean waves, air,

water.  We need to use something that

has no end ( at least that we can see in the foreseeable future.)

  4. my time is a resource and a non renewable resource for e.g. is the ten seconds im spending to answer this question, as i'll never get the ten seconds back.

  5. Non renewable resource are things lyk coal oil natural gas because it takes a very long tym to make. It basically means yu cant replace them and yur using them up.

  6. non-renewable resources are sources of energy that can be used once only. they are not,as we call it, reusable.

fossil fuels are formed by decaying organic matter [dead plants and aniamls] through high pressure from the earth they're buried under. they're compressed for thousands of years before being converted into petroleum, coal or natural gas.

nuclear energy is obtained via radioactive materials such as uranium and plutonium. these substances have short half-lives and emit a lot of radiation and heat when nuclear fusion or fission occurs. the "leftovers'' of nuclear reactions are highly radioactive and should be disposed carefully to avoid any leakage

    hope this answers your question=]
