Define pre-theatre dinner.?

Sorry for my ignorance... What is a pre-theater dinner? I know it is less expensive than the regular menu.

Basically dinner and drinks before the performance starts. Generally smaller portions but its still a nice way to start the evening.

It's by eating your dinner before the show.  The food is usually smaller in size, so the price is cheaper.

It is dinner you have before the show...  The portions are smaller and less extravagant and you usually get a 3 course set menu.  Restaurants do this in order to get people in early they then serve the 'dinner crew' while you are happy watching your show.
