  1. It means that one country sends a person to the country of their birth...it is the same exiling a person from a country...


  2. Generally there is 2 main catagories, one is when soldiers die on foreign soil, modern countries tend to send the bodies back home, and when they are taken off the ship/plane there is a repatriation ceremony to symbolize the soldiers body returning home.

    The other way it could be used is a nicer way of sending a undesireable back to there original country, sorta like exiling them.

  3. Repatriation is simply the official returning of an individual to his/her country of origin.
