Definition of a black solid?

can anyone give me the definition of a black solid?

How would you define a green liquid? Do you have any more information about what kind of black solid it is?

Edit: Black is the color. Solid means that it's hard, or at least a powder -- the emphasis is that it's not a gas like oxygen in the air, or liquid like water. And carbon is a chemical element.
