  1. fartlek - An athletic training technique, used especially in running, in which periods of intense effort alternate with periods of less strenuous effort in a continuous workout.

continuous - Without break, cessation, or interruption; without intervening time. Without intervening space; continued; protracted; extended.

Interval - A distance in space.

A period of time. The difference in pitch between two notes, often referring to those two pitches themselves.

  2. this is something you could easily google and get a good answer, what I will add is that fartlek is Swedish for "speed things", so basically a variety of different speeds, a mixture of continuous and interval.

  3. Easy peasy, i got A* in my gcses pe, and A in alevel pe  :D

Fartlek- basically, different terain, different speeds, diffrent period of working at that speed

Continuous-Working for long periods of time without rest

Interval- To work for a certain amout of time, rest and repeat. Partnership is the best example eg, you do a lap of a field, your partner does the lap, when they finish you start again.
