does anyone know about the term salvadoran

like when people started using it, what the purpose of it was, and if you cant give any info , Can you at least give a site where to get information

  4. Salvadoran does not define a race. Salvadoran defines one who claims El Salvador as the country of their birth. People began using the term when people began referring to a certain geo-political region as El Salvador. If a person is a native of,  or from,  El Salvador they will say ' I am Salvadoran ".  They should say this with pride because people who show that they have pride in who they are and where they are from  are respected by other people. To be respected and to show other people respect makes the world in which we live a better place.
