What is the tempo of the song Defying Gravity from the broadway musical "Wicked" when I want to play it on the piano

there are many parts to the song with different tempos... the beginning "something ahs changed within me" is slower, but once you get into the main melody it is more consistent (and faster than the beginning. here's the OBC:

Well, this is the sheet music I've found:

And it says it should be played 'Freely, with quiet intensity'. I'm not sure if that defines the tempo, but I don't play an instrument.

It would probably be a good investment to get the sheet music book for Wicked for piano.

It's a solem yet upbeat tempo. It goes moderatly fast towards the end. Buy the sheet music.

I'm not sure. You should listen to it. Check online if you don't have the soundtrack. If you don't have it you should buy it.
