Degaussing problem

Hi can you please tell me if degaussing a Sansui SV2918 TV does not help, what else could be wrong. Could it be the croma or demodultor in the main IC. The colors come wright if you degausse it with a coil. But if you turn the tv of for a while and you turn it on again the colors is smeared again. Mainly green. Thank you
