Degu breeding question?

befoe you give me the whole lecture on breeding is bad c**p let me tell you something. i already have 6 homes for the babies and they are very good people. they are all people i know and i will be able to guide them through taking care of the degus. and i have already told some of them they may not get any this time bacause i know they must be housed in pairs. i have already had a baby degu cause one of the females i got was pregnate and she had a girl and i kept her and i know what its like having a baby degu.. Tinky got out of the cage and drove me nuts. i dont wanna go through what i did with tinky so what should i do? i dont want to by an expencive hamster cage because its only a temp. cage. any sugestions??

it doesnt matter how good you are at breeding or if you found your babies homes, you are making more rodents in a world that already has to many of them. if you could do the right thing you would have your friends adopt degu's from a site like petfinder. or go to a human society. where they have these little pets that need homes, instead of just creating more of them. you can find degu's that need homes very easy.
