Degu vs chinchilla vs guinea pig

Question

They all sound like great pets! Help! I don't know which one to get.

degus are great company and you let them out they crawl up your arm as for chinchillas well... they are nice to hold but they are so boring all they do is sleep eat and NOTHINK ealse guinea pigs are the same. i have degus and they go down my top and they love adventures i named 'em joey and chandler joey loves adventures but eats alot (in other words hes fat) and chandler on the other hand is skiny runs around climbs up your head and loves to snuggle up to joey. im 10 years old and i didnt know what a degu was since i was 9 coz i was walking with my mum in pets at home AND 2 DEGUS CAUGHT MY EYE THEY WERE JUMPING PLAYING 'IT' AND WHEN I FINNALY PERSUIDED MY DAD WE WENT TO PETS AT HOME AND THERE WAS NO SIGHN OF ANY DEGUS SO I LEFT PETLESS WITH MY EYES FLUDING WITH TEARS  MUM SAID WHEN WE GET HOME WE WILL GO ON THE INTERNET AND FIND SOME FROM A PRIVATE HOUSE AND WE FOUND A FAMILY WITH 2 DIFRENT s*x PAIRS AD HAD 12 BABY DEGUS AND WE FOUND 2 BOYS"

Just to correct the earlier answer pertaining to degus, they are not naturally diabetic!!!  This is a common misconception found on the internet.  They are prone to developing diabetes when fed a high fat/sugar diet, which has led to this misconception.  This is not the same thing as being diabetic!!!  All three species are wonderful animals.  Personally, I raise degus and chinchillas, but not guinea pigs.  Guineas are the easiest to raise in many respects, though, and are more appropriate for many potential pet owners.  Just do your research and consider same-s*x pairs of whichever you decide on, as all are social animals.
