Dehydrated skin can cause uneven skin tone and a bit rough?

Can a patch of dry skin turn uneven and dry due to dehydration? could it make the skin turn uneven with your regular skin tone and just seems hard to get rid of? Whenever my daughter baths, the area seems to get a bit slimy, and somehow my friends said its probably caused cos of her sweating too much , the areas where she sweats most seems to become dry and rough and uneven, we're waiting for a doctor appointment but im wondering could it be cureable so i she can stress less/

This is going to sound really strange but you can use over the counter yeast medication like monistat. Just put the creme on the patch at night when she goes to bed. Basically she has yeast from either eating to much sugarry products, white flour foods or she contracted it from someone else.

It should start to get better over a week and then lessen as time goes by.
