Deification of Man (But Not The Same Type As in Mormonism) PLEASE ANSWER PROTESTANTS AND CATHOLICS?

Some early church father said this: God became Man in order that Man may become God. Some Christians have told be that this is in regards to the deification of man. They say "God became Man in order that Man may become God in life and nature but not in the God-head." Is this scriptural? What they mean by life ( God makes us immortal, that we as Christians can have fellowship with him for all eternity), what they mean by nature (God is righteous and he can't have fellowship with sinners, so once we die our nature is change to that of God, righteousness). But we never become Gods we are not omniscient and omnipotent nor omnipresent.

For more info please read this:http://www.angelfire.com/md/mdmorrison/h... and tell me whether or not it's scriptural.

  1. wow this is one of the most whacked up fake "rumors" i have ever heard. really? are we so self righteous to believe that we are god and god is us? seriously? anyone who believes this needs to get down off their pedestal and get slapped upside the head, wow the human mind has been so corrupted and has become such a mutation due to human sin that to say that we are god an god is us is such an insult on who god is. next time anyone thinks that they are even miles close to where god is run around the world and back and check again how close you are, take a space shuttle space and you are still infinite distances from heaven, wake up people you arent the bees knees like you may think you are!
