Former Arsenal vice-chairman http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 situation, as he admitted that the striker is more than likely to leave the club in the summer.
He did however admit that the club were going to go all out to try and keep him at the Emirates, but the way things were shaping up, things didn’t look too promising for the team.
After delaying his intentions for a couple of months, Van Persie finally came forth and admitted that he won’t be extending his stay with the North London club.
With just a year left on his contract, it is now up to the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 hierarchy to decide whether they want to let him leave for free next season, or if they want to profit off of his sale.
At the moment, the likes of Juventus, Manchester City and Manchester United are reportedly interested in securing the striker’s services.
Looking at the teams that are interested in making a move for the forward, Dein admitted that things could get very complicated for the team, in their pursuit to keep a hold of the striker.
"He has had such a wonderful season and he's been there eight years. He's the club captain, he means a lot to the club and to the fans"
"Once a player comes out and says something like that it's normally the prelude to a departure. But no doubt they will do all they can to try and keep him and make sure he sees out his last year.”
"All I would hope, for the stability of the club, is whether he stays or whether he goes, it happens quickly. You don't want to see what happened last year when you had http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 and Cesc Fabregas stringing it out.”
Dein then admitted that the club need to solve the situation soon, or they could suffer a lot of problems in the future.
It is now going to a wait for another couple of days to see whether the team is going to be able to make any progress in their attempts to keep a hold of their captain.
