Deja vu.. ESP.. Why am I having them?

Question

I always have deja vu. And I always envisage things that eventually do happen. I think I have very powerful ESP too. Why? Am I a psychic? Are they gifts from God? What should I do or not do. I don't want such abilities. I just want to be in peace with nature, and God.

As a skeptic I would say that you do not have ESP or psychic abilities, sorry. Deja Vu has been proved to be a function of how the neurons in the brain work. The latest research shows that it is due to a slight delay in the occurence of an event and and the perception by the brain, leading one to think that the event had occurred in the past.

In trying to predict the future chances are that sometimes you will be correct. However, if you think of the probability of being right versus all the times that you did not predict future events you will realize that this is just a statistical anomaly. Most people are amazed when they are right but they ignore all the instances in which the did not predict what happens in the future.

Since I don't believe in God, as such, I don't see such events as gifts from God, but rather approach them from the scientific viewpoint. I am not saying that God does or does not exist and you are certainly entitled to you beliefs, I may be wrong. But either way I think you can be at peace with nature (to me nature IS God).

deja vu is as matrix puts it a change in life see ther are many paths as a being that you can take comftable path is not alawys the right path but you sound like you bealive in god god has walked every path we could walk so deja vu is like a crossroads or like a switch like on train to switch tracks and powerful esp vision that come true are a gift not curse and can help you in long run

That's good that you don't want such abilities since you almost certainly don't have them.

Deju Vu is a common and not paranormal experience, however the ability to read minds or tell the future has never been proved to be possible and I doubt very much that you are the first to develop these impossible abilities.

ok, at some point some of us have this occur, i did in 2nd grade, i'd dream it and it would happen, or i feel like something has happened. This is not something to be too worried about, mine has wore off and i don't experience it anymore. It doesn't necessarily mean that you're psychic but they may just be gifts ;)
