The Serbian was speaking to Sky Sport Italia after Inter’s defeat against Novara, and in reference to the fans, he said:
"It is normal that there are some whistles. But we are hopeful that we will pick ourselves up.”
The 33-year-old star insists that his side created several opportunities to score, but their wastefulness cost the team important three points. The Serb has demanded immediate improvement from the team.
"We created chances and we were a bit unlucky, but that is no excuse: we must react and recover, especially from a mental point of view."
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 star made a return to the starting line-up after recovering from an injury. The midfielder was out of action since December, and felt good about his performance on his return.
Talking about his return, he added:
"I had a good return, but we can talk about two different things: my return and the match.”
Inter Milan had 20 shots on goals, but could not capitalise on their chances. On the other hand, Novara, with their limited chances managed to score on the counter attack to secure a 1-0 victory.
