The Spaniard has taken out time to discuss the vast number of forwards available at his disposal and why he opted to play the false-nine formation earlier this year.
Spanish national team's head coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 del Bosque, has expressed that he is impressed by the growing numbers of attacking players in the Spanish locker room. He discussed the inclusion of new players in the squad and asserted that they all have unique
abilities.
According to the veteran trainer, it is important to give a chance to all of his players. He mentioned that there is no shortage of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 and David
Villa.
Torres and Villa have been long considered the primary strikers for the world champions, however, their boss has argued that the two athletes now have suitable replacements as well.
He mentioned that Aspas, Michu, Negredo, Soldado, Aduriz and Iago are all the players that are at his disposal.
While talking to reporters, the 61-year-old was quoted as saying:
“Right now we have a few strikers, but from Negredo, Soldado, Aduriz, Iago Aspas, Michu, apart from Torres and Villa, there are people in the running for future seasons. We try to be fair, it is not just about goals.”
“For me, Michu has great value, he is playing for a team and not on the final line, not as a pure striker, and he is getting a lot of goals, as he did at Rayo Vallecano.”
The former Real Madrid boss then discussed the false-nine formation and argued why he utilized this style of play during this year’s Euro 2012 in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
“We preferred to use a player who’d drop deep to link up and would play a part in creating attacks, but who could get in the box too. At the time we had our moments of uncertainty too. It’s not easy. I don’t think anyone should be certain that everything
they do is right. I question a lot of things.”
Del Bosque took over as the Spanish coach after their Euro 2008 triumph.
