The Bianconeri legend excited with the win over Rossoneri, but urges his teammates to remain focused for the second-leg

The Turin giants defeated the Rossoneri by 2-1 in the first-leg of the semi-final of Coppa Italia at San Siro on Wednesday, February 8. Martin Caceres scored a brace for the Bianconeri, while Stephan El-Shaarawy scored a consolation
for the Champions.
Del Piero is elated with the win, and insists that despite struggling in the league in the previous two seasons, they have made a strong comeback in the ongoing campaign. The Old Lady is targeting the domestic silverware, as they
stay atop the league standings and have one foot in the final of Coppa Italia.
While talking to the reporters, Del Piero said,
“If we still needed confirmation that we believe in ourselves and are aiming for all available targets this season, then the night at San Siro must provide that increased awareness of our capabilities.”
The former Italian international believes that a win over A.C Milan is always important, and insists that if they win the second-leg as well, it will be a big achievement for them. The former Padova star has urged his teammates

“To win at San Siro against an opponent like Milan is never easy, to do it in a two-legged challenge is even more important, even if the very fact that it is a double-header makes us realise that we are only halfway. We have to
complete the work in the second leg at home, because the 2-1 obtained in Milan will not protect us from danger.” added the 37-year-old
