During his conversation
with the Italian tabloid magazine, Gazzetta dello Sport, the legendary Italian and Juve player went on to remark on his time with the Turin giants and furthermore, he also stated that it was an honour to have played for the Old Lady.
He reflected on his life at the club and stated that the roots of his ties with the Lady Killers are very deep and that he is lucky to be in good touch with many of the current crop of players at the Juventus Arena. During a candid interview with the Gazzetta
dello Sport, the veteran remarked on his least fond and the fondest goal memories he has with the club, and remarked that he would have liked not to have lost as many finals as he had.
Furthermore, he also reflected on his goal in the 1994-95 season as his most fond memory, and stated:
“I have a very deep relationship with Juventus. And I still have the good fortune to have wonderful relationships with many of the players. “The thing I liked least? Well, I would have rather not lost as many finals as I did. There were many goals of mine
that were watershed moments, but one of the first was the one against Fiorentina that gave us the [1994-95] Scudetto.”
The Sydney FC player has been a valuable addition to the club during the A-League season.
