  1. Dela Hoya

  2. It still wouldn't happen because Tito cannot even come close to 154 pounds now.  In his last fight against Roy Jones, Jr. he barely made 170 pounds.  Oscar De La Hoya has recently stated that he would like to fight Miguel Cotto in his last fight as long as he beats Antonio Margarito.  So, I highly doubt that Tito will get to fight a rematch with Oscar.  In my opinion, it would still be a pretty intriguing fight because Oscar has always stated that he felt like he was genuinely robbed in that fight, but he never really pursued a rematch even though he wanted to.  They didn't have a direct rematch because the first fight was so boring and the fans weren't clamoring for one, plus the fact that Tito didn't stay at 147 for too long.  If Tito somehow could get down to 154 (which he won't), then I would have to favor De La Hoya this time- I always thought that he won the first fight, but I can't complain because Oscar threw the fight by running away at the end of the fight- he did it to himself.  I think that Oscar would once again outbox Tito, only this time he would make sure that he finishes stronger.

  3. Here's something that people don't realize about de la Hoya:

He has lost ALL of his big marquee fights.  He's lost by decision to Mayweather, Mosley (twice), and Trinidad.  And he was knocked out by Hopkins on a shot to the kidney.

Who has he beaten?  Felix Sturm?  A stiff.  Fernando Vargas? Easy pickings.  Arturo Gatti?????  A bleeder.  Ricardo Mayorga?  Please!

De la Hoya has a reputation as a pretty boy, not as a fighter.  When he wins against someone worthwhile, then he'll get respect in my book.

  4. Trinidad would destroy De La Hoya.

  5. Oscar promised his wife that he would never fight another Purtro Rican fighter so that fight probably wouldn't happen. IF it did Oscar would win Trinidad hasn't been active enough to give Oscar any real problems.

  6. shouldnt be a rematch. hoya out boxed tito. hoya would win AGAIN. he was robbed in the u.s. for that matter

  7. After the Debacle/Fiasco's of boxing, I No  longer pay per view. I wait till the fights are on sports - usually a month later.

  8. yeah i dont know if i'd watch but hoya messed up by running away tito said he knew he was hurt thats why he ran away...hoya said he himself was more tired than expected

  9. I don't think so but it's just money matter. I think we better see Pacqiao and Oscar.http://summer-olympics-updates.blogspot....

  10. im sorry to say, trinidad WAS 1 of my fav boxers , im puerto rican and got alot of pride , but i would have to give it 2 DLH if they fought, DLH is more polished, Trinidad slacks off and gets caught with lots of jabs(showed in resent fights such as  winky wright, and roy jones) he is washed up now, im sorry but he dont got it no more
