  1. Alaina Is beautiful!!

  2. I think if you have to write phonetics on how your babies' names are spelled, then the names are too weird.

Eden just isn't a first name.

  3. I prefer Alaina to Delana. It's more feminine.  Eden... to me it isn't really a name.  but go with your instincts.

  4. Definitely Alaina!  Delana looks like it should be Delaney...

Eden is a girls name so yes too girly for a boy

And Eagen looks weird, like it's missing a letter.... Reagen, Meagen, Teagen........

  5. Alaina

  6. I think Eden is a bit girly. How about Ethan, or Evan? I like both Delana and Alaina, but I prefer Elaina.

  7. Alaina is really beautiful but so is Delana. Alaina is still nicer though and I would use this. Eden is in my opinion a girls name and I wouldn't use this for a boy.

    Hope I help :)

  8. I like Delana better. It's not very common, and I think it's very pretty.

And for Eden, I have really no idea, but my guess is that it can be for both.

  9. I like Alaina. Eden in my opinion is more of a boys name, but Its becoming increasingly popular as a girls name. I was origionally a boys name though, but because of the popularity of it as a girls name, your child might be teased.

  10. Although they're both pretty names, Alaina is just better

When it's written down, it looks better, and when it's said, it sounds better.

Ummm yea, Eden sounds a little girly.  Maybe you could use it as  a middle name for Alaina??

  11. I greatly prefer Alaina to Delana.  Delana lacks substance; it sounds made-up.  Alaina is a reasonably legitimate variation of Alana or Elaine.  It's pretty and feminine.  I prefer the Elena spelling, although I believe it's pronounced a little differently (eh-LEH-nuh instead of eh-LAY-nuh).

I do think Eden is too girly for a boy (but I love it on a girl).  Eagan is a bit odd.  If you like a similar sound and don't mind common names, Ethan and Ian are nice.  If you are looking for something less common, which I suspect you are, maybe consider:

    Eamon (AY-mon)

    Easton

    Eli

    Ellis

    Enoch

    Eton (disadvantage: sounds like "eatin'")

    Ewan (YOO-in)

    Evert

    Everett

    Emmett

    Ezra

Good luck, and I hope this helps!
