  1. UPDATE:

You can look into the following, as there is a difference between Favorites (http://help.yahoo.com/help/ca/360/friend... ) and Friends (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/fri... and http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-1qCkw2Eha... ).

    1) First, check your "Home" page. On the left side is a "Contact List". Count the number listed there. If there is a green cross next to their name, then they are a favorite (either you added them that way or someone did not actually accept an invitation). If there is a blue person icon next to their name, then they are a connected friend. If there is nothing next to their name, then they've probably deleted their 360 space at some point.

    2) Click on "My Page". Look at your friends module. Note the number listed there. Log out of your 360 space. Go to your 360 page without logging in. Note the number of friends listed in your Friends module now (i.e. while you are seeing what the public sees). There may be a difference. It's not unheard of that the number shown to you while logged in includes some deleted/favorited people (which sounds like a glitch to me).

    3) Click on your "My Friends" page. Count the number of friends listed there. Click on their nickname to visit their page. If their page has been deleted OR you see that under their profile pic it doesn't say that you are a connected friend, then go back to the "My Friends" page. Select the box next to their name and then click the remove link on the same line. Sometimes people can delete you as a friend, but their profile picture still remains on your 360 Friends module.

That's all that I know. Personally, I wouldn't worry to much about the actual numbers. It's more important that your "true" friends are actually still connected to you.

FYI: Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details.

However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about it.

  2. Put Kee and Stardust in your friends list and they won't disapear.

  3. Put all your friends in one category.

If you have any favorites, they will count to any friends you have showing on your 360 page. Or 360 Friends list.

    Go to mailbox page

    click on ''outstanding inviations ''

See if you have pending invitations, this may be the lost friends
