Deleted because of my opinion ?

yahoo answers took down my question on g*y marriage yesterday because I was against it WHY CANT WE HAVE opinions anymore jeez where gunna turn into china if this keeps happening!!

I thought this was supposed to be a free forum but I guess not. I've been reported for answering questions although truthful it wasn't what the person wanted to hear. I think we get a lot of trolls here unfortunately.

I didn't see it and don't know how the question was formatted - but a couple of the community guidelines are:

- Must be a question

- Should not be a rant or speak poorly of other members.

Was it a real question or were you stating your opinion?

Just appeal it. I have had a few deletions overturned.

I was reported today because someone asked if some of the trolls were funny and I said yes, giving a name of one in particular.

I'll appeal that as well. Just be civil courteous and keep your cool when appealing.

What I am not clear on is if you get an automatic deletion if any Joe complains or are the complaints analyzed by the moderator before deletion. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.

i had a question taken down about mccain supporters being rude to me an obama supporter.  i had never encountered anything like it in my life.  lately i havent answered or asked anything.  too many sensitive people up in here.
