Deleted messages still showing when using keyword serach, how do I get rid of them?

I deleted some messages that I want off the list. When I use the "search" feature, using a keyword (we use this a lot in my group); the deleted messages still come up, but when I click on it to open it, it says "The group IL_Lost_Found_Dogs is temporarily unavailable". It ONLY says this for the messages I deleted. I need to get these off the list, dont want them coming up in searches. How; and why is it doing this?

generally speaking, when you delete a post off the group what you'd see is missing numbers in the count- and the post is gone. using a search within the group shouldn't be locating any part of a deleted post- yahoo has been having issue with the searc fileds in groups not working properly or finding posts when searched- maybe this is a glitch of that recent fix.

You can delete the message from the group site but there is no way to remove them from cached files on google, yahoo or any other internet search engine.

Google has stated they will remove items upon request but the request must come from a company or corporation.  I doubt that Yahoo would want anything posted on Yahoo removed because that would decrease traffic coming to their website. The Yahoo website is mostly supported by advertising and must get gazillions of hits to keep support coming in.
