Deleting A Yahoo! Group?

Question

Can you delete a Yahoo! Group you started? If so could you kind of walk me through it and give me directions. Thanks :)

No.  I have yet to find a way to delete a group

Yahoo Groups for all its hype is not any different than SPAM, once they have you they don't let go, they don't even you extend the courtesy of the usual bogus link that says  "if wish to discontinue" click here.

My advice is to never start something untill you how to stop it

I learned this from yahoo groups.

Go to the link below.

http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

Then click on:

Edit My Groups, on the top left

in blue.

You can see:

Group Name  Yahoo! Profile ❙Email Address❙Message Delivery❙Leave Group

Then check

Leave Group

❐small box

When you are done

then click Save Changes

in the blue button.

Note:It will take several

days to take effect.

management- under group settings, lower, you'll see delete- click and next enter reason for deleting and click delete again

No. If this is your group and you are the owner you can delete the group by clicking on Management and right there is a choice to Delete Group.
