Deleting Information from Tool Bar?

Can someone please tell me how I delete the information from the search engine. You know how when you put a letter in and then everything you looked up starting with that letter comes up? How do I prevent the computer from doing that?

Just erase your historial and cookies, by choosing that option on your browser( internet explorer, firefox etc) settings

On the top bar, where it says File, Edit, View... etc.

Go to Tools... then near the bottom of the list click on Clear Private Data.

OR

Click Ctrl+Shift+Del

Note however, I'm not assuming you're a child, but there are programs which tell you how many times the history has been cleared.
