  1. I think that the one thing that I always did was use spysweeper on my computer, or some sort of cleaning software, that I downloaded for free from www.downloads.com.  I hope this helps a little!

  2. To delete the history go to "Internet Options" (you can do it thru the Tools section if you have Internet Explorer or Firefox-I have this too and saw that this feature was on that browser or in your computer's control panel).  When the box for that section opens it will show toward the bottom of the box a section for the history where you can see how long you want the history to stay up before a site is deleted and also a "Clear History" button.

Click on "Clear History" and it will clear out the history of sites that you have been to.  It will stay clear until you go to the next website you want to look at.

  3. Go to your Control Panel and click on Internet Options, new box appears(Internet Properties) scroll down to history and put a number in the little box next to Days to keep history. Then click on CLEAR HISTORY then ok. It is best to restart your comp after for it to take effect. I found that if I put a 0 in the box it really didn't work so I put a 1 then it keeps it clear. Hope this helps.
