Deleting photos from a camera.

How do i delete photos from a sony cyber shot dsc-w55 i removed the memory card but there are still about 14 photos in the camera, the screen is broken so i cannot delete them normally, i can still view the pics by connecting it to my laptop but i cannot view them on the camera

you can delete them on the computer when the camera is connected to the computer. There should be something that says delete photo, on w/e software you have. or try right clicking it and delete it.

After you have copied all the image files to your computer, you can format the card using your computer if it is a PC ... Mac's use a different kind of formatting scheme and can damage your card.

The best way is to use the format feature on your camera, but until you get the LCD repaired, you will have to depend upon your computer.

When viewing them on the computer, try right clicking the mouse to see if it gives you a menu with the selection "delete". You have to have some sort of program that accesses the files in order to view them. Might be MS Picture Viewer. I have a Fujifilm camera and it works that way for me.
