I would like to know if there is a way to delete songs from Itunes and my computer while keeping them on the Ipod. All the songs on Itunes are making my pc run like a snail and freeze up. I would like to be able to delete them from the Pc but keep the ipod the way it is.

  1. First connect your ipod without deleting the songs. Select your ipod and go to the music tab. Uncheck "sync all music" and check the "only selected playlists" check box. Then uncheck all of the playlists. Then, whatever you do to the itunes library will have no effect on the ipod. For that reason, I am not sure if it will let you put new music on without syncing it, so you may not be able to put new songs on after setting it not to syncronize. However, if you can, it will probably be by dragging and dropping the songs/playlists onto your ipod from the library.

  2. ok listen you can put all of the songs onto the iPod but you cant put the iPod into your computer EVER again. (it will lose all unsaved dataA)
