I really want to delete some songs from my IPod but i don't know how to. I use ITunes, but I'm not sure which version it is. I have kind of an old IPod, they don't sell it anymore, haha, it's the IPod mini, I'm getting a new one for my birthday in a couple of months but I want to delete some songs. Help me out. Thanks! =]

  1. in itunes there are options you can change about sync automatically.  change that setting to manual.  then when the ipod is attached it shows up with its song list.  highlight the song you want to delete and use the right mouse button.

  2. You dont delete anything form the ipod or manage it at all.

you let itunes do that (always download the latest version of itunes from apple and upgrade the software its free).

when you plug the ipod into itunes it syncs wiht itunes according to the settings in the ipod's tab when in itunes. to remove a song just deselect it when chosing manually sync.

when you pair an ipod with a computer it erases everythign that was on it form the old pairing and replaces it with new.

itunes is the master not the ipod!

to remove everything from an ipod before selleing etc.  plug it in select manualy sync then set it to sync nothing  then sync it! it erases everything on it.  you can play safe by selecting update or restore too.
