Deleting songs off an ipod nano? (2nd generation)?

We all get tired of the same old songs after a while but my ipod is getting very filled up with stuff I dont want and I dont know how to delete it...how do you delete songs of an ipod?

  1. Through iTunes. You can uncheck the songs you don't want on the iPod any longer, and make sure it is set to sync only checked songs.

    If you want to delete them for good, you can delete them out of iTunes, and they will be gone for good (until you load them back into iTunes). But if you think you may want to load it back to your iPod at a later date, the above will keep the music on your PC, but remove it from the iPod.


  2. In your iTunes, right click on the song you want to delete, select delete/remove (whichever one it says) and the sync your iPod. It may ask you if you want to move the file to your recycle bin, that's up to you.
