Deleting txts off a cell phone?

i have a verizon razr w/ over a 1000 txts on it and i was wondering if there is a way to delete them all w/o single handly deleting all of them

go to messages menu

go to inbox

hit options

choose erase inbox or delete all

click the delete all button i have had 20 razrs

I had that cell, there should be an option while your in the messages screen above that will say delete all.  That's it.  Hope this helps
