Deleting whole memory on phone?

Hi

I washed my phone a few months ago and have sold it on ebay, but I forgot about the memory on it.

How do i delete it, I got the card out of the phone and now what?

and how do I delete the phones memory.

Put it in a memory card reader and delete everything...

Try looking under Settings for something like 'Factory Reset'. This will wipe the phone's memory and all your settings.

However it might not wipe some phone numbers off the SIM. If you're selling the phone with the SIM in, you might need to go through your Contacts List manually deleting any numbers that remain after you've done the factory reset.

Find where it says restore factor settings, it will be under settings.

It might ask for the Security Code so hopefully you have that - if you never changed it it will be in the instruction booklet.

if you washed it and it was powered up chances are teh entire memory was wiped as it would have shorted most of the internal circuits only the Flash memory would have been spared (but a bit corroded on the terminals).

you should be safe. what person buys a washed phone!!
