Delhi Daredevils’ coach, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Peter-Willey-c81951 finish the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on a good note.
Delhi did reasonably well in the first three editions of the IPL, however they failed to make any kind of impression in the current season.
The Daredevils are already out of the competition, struggling at the bottom of the points table with just four wins after 13 games.
With one match left this year, Shipperd wants to end the current season with a win in order to avoid the last spot on the points table.
He admitted that Delhi have been poor in the current season but are hoping for a consolation victory in their last league match against Pune http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warriors-c861, on Saturday.
"We would like to finish on a winning note. We are keen to get off from the bottom of the points tables. We have not achieved our target this season and would look to end the season with a win," said Shipperd.
Ironically, the match between Pune and Delhi is a battle to avoid the last position on the points table as both teams have an equal number of points currently.
