84 by the 13th over.
Both batsmen, however, were soon dislodged by Agarkar, and the rest of the batting order was unable to keep the momentum going. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Luke-Ronchi-c73300 (2) were both taken out of the game by Morkel after small contributions,
and with skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nathan-Coulter-Nile-c2070 (2*) at the crease, the Scorchers posted a final total of 121 by the end of 20 overs, at the expense of 5 wickets.
The team attempted to make up for their lacklustre batting performance with a solid bowling display – http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nathan-Rimmington-c2072 all claimed two wickets each. However, their efforts did little to restrain the Daredevils, who managed
to reach 123 easily with just 7 wickets down.
The chief effort came from veteran batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/LRPL-Taylor-c1849 (5) – all failed to fire.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Naman-Ojha-c2057 (6)
followed soon after, sent packing by Coulter-Nile.
However, Player of the Match Agarkar followed up his bowling display with a composed unbeaten 11 with the bat, and aided by Pawan Negi (7*), got the Daredevils over the finish line with 3 wickets and 3 balls remaining.
