Delhi Train to Jammu?

Question

I need to know which train is an Express/Fastest that goes from Delhi to Jammu. Around the days of July 30, 31, or August 1st. I would like to know how much the charge would be for AC 1 as I do not like traveling in the other classes. Also is it safe traveling in AC 1? If you have traveled in AC 1 before please tell me some of your experience.

Jammu Rajdhani is the fastest train.

Time: about 9 hours.

AC 1st Class Ticket is available on Aug 1

AC 1st Class Fare: Rs. 1915

I have traveled by AC 1, and it makes for a very, very comfortable experience. You get your own private bedroom. I was traveling in a 2-person "coupe" with my wife, which made for quite a memorable journey :-)

Now if you share the cabin with other people, your experience will depend very much on the nature of your co-passengers. If you are traveling alone, then maybe AC2 is safer.
