My son has been horrible. I know he is upset that I have been working a crappy shift at work so time with his is limited. Today he hit is great gramma and kicked her in the face because she put him in time out. Went shopping and he deliberately peed his pants because he wanted me to leave. I took him to Mc Donalds and he pulled down his pants and pooped in the play area and just to make sure I knew it was him he left his underwear there. He has been pooping behind the couch in the laundry room where ever he wants. When I talk to him he just says who care. I punish him and he laughs. He is 3 years old and is sassy as h**l. I don't want to have him grow up and be one of those kids that are in jail at the age of 15 but at this rate I am afraid. Please Help Me. I can't quit my job because 4 kids are hard to feed. We are living on bare minimum now.

  1. My oldest just got done with this phase, he didn't have any of the potty problems you mentioned, but he hit, kicked and bit...not fun!  We found things that he did right and gave him TONS of attention for that.  We also worked with him on "gentle" touches and again, gave him a lot of attention when he did it.  It took a good 2-3 months (which felt like 20 years) but it worked and he has been behaving perfectly for several weeks now.

Good luck!  Stay patient and remember to tell him that you love him even when he is naughty.

  2. I had a very difficult toddler, who is still a very difficult teen.

The Strong Willed Child by Dr. James Dobson helped me more than anything.

  3. I do not beleive you!!!
