The former head coach of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 acknowledged that what he did at Fiorentina was wrong, and went on to remark that he wishes to be back in the limelight of football.
The currently unemployed Italian tactician has gone on to state that his actions at the former club deserved to be noticed and acted upon. However, he also went on to state that there should have been an understanding to his reaction and that it was an act
done by the heat of the moment.
Commenting on the progress made by La Viola in the last edition of the transfer window, Delio Rossi stated that the club needed such a huge influx of players, as there was a lack of strength and depth within the squad during his time at the club.
The Gigliati outfit have been prolific in the transfer window this season and have signed around 18 players this season, with many shrewd signings along the way. The departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Riccardo-Montolivo-c31049 might have created a huge void in the Fiorentina outfit,
but the club has made sure that they make the requisite changes to field an even stronger team in the coming term.
Besides the players signed on by the club, Fiorentina also hired a new head coach in the form of the impressive Vincenzo Montella and got the services of Daniele Prade as their sporting director. The two have breathed a new lease of life into the club who
were fighting for relegation at the end of last season.
While commenting on the acquisitions made by Fiorentina, as well as AS Roma; Rossi went on to remark:
"Fiorentina did the only thing they could do - initiate a total revolution. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 have also recruited well."
Commenting on the situation that he finds himself in, the former Viola boss went on to state:
"I miss the coaching aspect; seeing young men grow day by day. Sundays were the result of what you did [in training] during the week. I did something bad, which is not to be repeated, but it was at least understandable, if not justifiable, in the heat of
the moment.”
He remarked that he was not looking to avoid being blamed for the scenario but he felt there was more to the story than met the eye.
