Dell 1526 xp sp3 hmi audio to hdtv

Question

I have a Dell 1526 and we installed XP on it rather then vista. When doing so we seemed to get everything to work fine but the audio on the TV. It does not have the option on Xp like vista does to switch over to HDMI. We have searched the internet for some sort of driver upgrade and had no luck finding one. Do you know a solution to this problem?
