Dell Inspiron 1300 power adaptor loose?

Question

i have a Dell inspiron 1300 laptop and when i plug it in to the laptop it sometimes acts like its unplugged but when i figget it a little i can usually get it to recognize it good and stay that way but its extremely annoying and is not good for travel to have to figget it all the time, any help please?

i had the smae promble with a differnt laptop though. what u will need is scissors, tape, a souldering iron and some souldor. cut a bit below the plug in point and strip take of casing strip other wire and put soulder on and soulder on tweo new peices. 1 should be in middle and 1 goes on top of metal

if this is too hard just buy a new one!!!

I had the same problem with my Dell charger and it's super frustrating. I had the Dell support and so they just replaced it because it was something with the cord. If you don't have the hardware support just go to the Dell website and find out the model number for your adapter and type it into ebay or google and I'm sure you'll find something reasonable.
