Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop?

Question

my laptop is getting so slow and its really big. My mom gave it to me and I'm buying myself a new one. I think i want a Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop. I'm not quite sure though. Does anyone know anything about it? like does it have Vista. Does it work good with firefox? Is it fast? any information is helpful. If it's a bad decision what are some other good laptops?? right now im using a fujitsu life book. its getting slow like i sad.

 I'd say no to Inspiron notebooks. They overheat quickly and affect parts like motherboard. Plus, my inspiron 1525 screen was wobbly when i first got it. I'll go for Asus in the future.
