Question:

Dell Latitude D630 Touchpad/Pointer

In the Dell Touchpad settings app, I've selected "Disable Touchpad/Pointing stick when external USB mouse is present" and this works fine. However, when the mouse is removed, the Touchpad/Pointing stick remain disabled. This happens even if I re-boot (the "touchpad driver notification" message even comes back up indicating it has been disabled because an external USB mouse is present...despite the fact that there is no mouse present). The pad/stick remain functional, as they work fine if I remove the check from the "Disable when mouse is present" box. Ideas on how to fix this?
