Question:

Dell.ca is confusing!?

OK so I want to get a laptop and the august Dell catalog had some great deals. So i went onto the website and built a system that i was very happy with.

A few days later, the deals had "changed" so the price went higher. When i went to www.dell.ca/augcat the catalog prices were different. So I built a new system that wasn't nearly as good as the last one with a higher price. So then like a day later i go to dell.ca and check out home laptops and find the my original good deal. Did the deal change or something so that the good one i just found isn't legit any more? HELP!!!!

  1. Dell pretty much deliberately make their website amazingly confusing to confuse people out of their money. Well done for being skeptical before you bought the computer. The deal has not changed, but try various combinations of components until you get the one same as before. If you approach the 'create your dell' page from different places in the site it can give you differnt prices. You can even get dell 'coupons' from the internet that can reduce the price further. Just search for these coupons in Google.
