Dell laptop problems

Question

Is it possible to dump my hard drive without taking it in to a repair shop. It is a Dell Latitude and we are having some major problems with it. If you can help please let me know . Also thanks for all of your help on my other problems. if you need more info on this I can let you know. thanks again, chefkenny The model is dell latitude C840 it will not let me choose that option in the product finder below. so i' m going to enter a different product.
