Deloitte Ladies Open: Anne-Lise Caudal eyes another title
French Anne-Lise Caudal does not seem complacent even after hoisting the title at the Unicredit Ladies German Open last week, as she has now set her sights on Deloitte Ladies Open.
The Deloitte Ladies Open is scheduled to start from June 1-3, at the Golfclub Broekpolder Rotterdam, Netherlands, with a strong field comprising most of the prominent LET (Ladies European Tour) contenders.
Caudal appears to have regained her momentum after beating the 2010 champion, Laura Davies, at Golfpark Gut Hausern, Munich, and now she is more eager to prove her mettle at another prestigious event.
Caudal may not find it easy to record her second straight LET victory due to the fearsome field, but she will definitely seek to repeat what she did in the last event.
The field for the Deloitte Ladies Open has been confirmed. Key players include Karen Lunn of Australia, Frances Bondad, Trish Johnson, Lee-Anne Pace, Helen Alfredsson, Becky Brewerton, Gwladys Nocera, Christel Boeljon, Diana Luna, who won the 2011 edition
of the German Open, and Florentyna Parker.
Analysts said that the field for the said tournament is as strong as Unicredit Ladies German Open, with some players excluded due to other engagements. For instance, a key contender, Laura Davies, will busy playing the ShopRite LPGA Classic, being held at
New Jersey.
The French star displayed a solid performance at the Unicredit Ladies German Open, as she posted 67 in the last three rounds each. Analysts said that Caudal’s game looked completely balanced, as she did not make careless putts at all.
On some holes, the German Open winner faltered, but she remained composed most of the time.  She stunned her fans when she reeled off three consecutive birdies in the second round.
Speaking to the media about her performance, Caudal said that the victory would help her keep the momentum going in the upcoming tournaments. She said that she is happy about regaining her lost form, and now she will take pro golf from a completely different
approach.
Sport’s commentators have said that the next week’s event will not be easy for the French prodigy, especially due to the participation of the defending champion, Brittany Lincicome.
