Delonghi esf461st oven not heating up

Question

we have the above oven and it has stopped working. the element does not heat up when used for oven function but it does for grill function. is the problem likely to be the switch or a thermostat faulty (I assume that the thermostat is not used for grilling). a wiring diagram would help but I couldn't find one on line.
