Delstar DS 8013 - Not working.

I was given a Delstar DS 8013 mp3 player to fix. When turned on it only has a white screen. It does not play music, none of the controls work, (volume, mic, mode) When accessed from a computer, it reads only as a flash disk. Can I install software on the disk to operate the drive?
