Delstar ds-801. When I tried to put a song on my player it says that is on the device so I deleted

When I tried to put a song on my player it says that is on the device so I deleted my music file. But it still shows that 22% of my memory is used. Is there any way I can reset it to get all of my memory cleared? Thanks
