Just wondering what aircraft will be used on this new route? Is it a 777-200LR? Why use that plane on a route from SLT?

  1. They'll probably put on the smallest airplane that will make the distance.  I can't imagine there's a lot of demand for direct flights from San Angelo, TX (SLT) to Paris, France (CDG)

  2. SLC is a hub for Delta.  They will connect passengers from the west and that will fill the aircraft and make it cost efficient.
