somebody at my work just got back from a vacation to france on delta, and flew business elite, which looked really nice.

do you have to be part of a business, or have a special pass/card to fly in that section?

or is that just what they call it, but really it's first class?

and how much is each ticket?

and is it only when you fly overseas or is it for domestic flights too?

i didnt want to ask her because i dont know her that well, and i didnt want to get in her business.

  1. Delta's business elite is a big step up from economy, and has much more room and food and drinks, and costs a great deal more than economy. It is open to anyone that has the money to pay for it. It is available on long haul and international flights.

As an example for fares, Delta's one way economy from Atlanta to London is $1048. Business class is $6002.

  2. It's basically first class on Delta overseas flights. Very expensive but anyone with enough money can buy a ticket for those seats..

  3. It's Business Class.  You just have to pay the Business Class fare.  Fares depend on when you fly, and where; like any other fare.

    Primarily international flights.
