Delwood Roko relishing to win Tek Recruitment Challenge Stakes
The C. Lister trained black dog, Delwood Roko, will endeavour to complete his hat-trick by winning the Tek Recruitment Challenge Stakes here at Sheffield racecourse on Tuesday night, July 17. The Open Race over 500 meters is set to start at 19:26 (GMT).
In the £200 event, the three-year-old veteran hound is likely to demonstrate his traditional class with sheer confidence to beat his five worthy rivals.
The way he performed in his last two races has recharged his energy and stamina along with making him the hot favourite runner for tonight’s marathon.
The talented son of Hotshow Ben out of Delwood Dusty marvellously finished first in the Betfred.Com 480m Trophy at Nottingham on July 2 and moved forward to win the William Hill A14 The Supreme Team at Sheffield on July 10----he was 5-2 favourite for that
event. Both were the OR races.
Earlier this year, the dashing dog made some notable marks. He also delivered outstanding performances during the last year.
Thus, Delwood Roko has a lot of talent under his belt. He has been a consistent performer since the very first day of his professional career.
All these stats suggest that the maverick sprinter will be able to seal success convincingly in the coming contest.
The only hound who can challenge him is Bit View Royal who gained a lot of confidence by winning William Hill A16 The Seasider’s at Sheffield on July 10.
Prior to this tremendous triumph, the E. Parker trained black and white dog had won Night Continues At Napoleons Casino by the big margin of 5 ¼ lengths on June 19.
The brilliant son of Droopys Vieri out of Moyar Queen elegantly won three races in a row during the month of May. He started his career in February 2012.
Despite these glaring feats, his record in OR format had not been good enough. However, he will surely give enough tough time to Delwood Roko.
